Santos’s passion for cars and her drive to succeed has led her to achieve a remarkable feat, becoming the fastest technician to earn the title of Senior Master Technician in Tasca Ford’s 70-year history. Her story is one that needs to be shared, as her drive and productivity have set a new standard for Ford and Lincoln technicians everywhere.
Santos’s love for the field started at a young age when she used to take everything apart to see how it worked. Her father was a mechanic at a small mom-and-pop shop, and he got his hands on a 1967 Thunderbird, which sparked Santos’s love for working on cars. After finishing high school, Santos enrolled in the program at New England Tech and chose to pursue a career as a technician.
Santos has been at Tasca Ford for five years and has a great relationship with her managers, who have always been supportive of her growth and development. Santos’s dedication and attention to detail have been key to her success. She always wants her work to be perfect and will take the whole car apart if she sees something that’s not right. When asked about what sets her apart, Santos says, “I want to know that when the customer sees my work, he or she can’t tell that I was even in the car. I won’t settle for less.”
