We are thrilled here at Gary Crossley Ford to tell you about the exciting updates and changes for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. Let’s dive in!Ā
First off, Ford is introducing two new models that are sure to excite fans of the classic Bronco – the Bronco Sport Heritage and Bronco Sport Heritage Limited. These throwback-themed models pay homage to the 1966 Ford Bronco and feature unique two-tone paint schemes, Ford lettering on the grille, aluminum heritage wheels, plaid cloth seats, Oxford White instrument panel, and front and rear floor liners, among other features. The Heritage Limited edition also includes exclusive features such as console badging and Race Red accent stitching in the seats, and they‘re only producing 1,966 units in honor of the 1966 model year Bronco.Ā
2023 Bronco Sport Trim Levels
In addition to these new models, Ford will be offering a total of six trims for the Bronco Sport, including the entry-level Base trim, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited.Ā
Exterior Updates
Moving on to the exterior, we’re dropping two colors and adding five new ones to the lineup. The Heritage and Heritage Limited models will have exclusive 17-inch Oxford White-painted aluminum wheels and optional underbody protection.Ā
Interior Updates
Inside the Bronco Sport, Ford will be now offering memory seats and sideview mirrors as standard on the Outer Banks, Heritage Limited, and Badlands Premium Package trims. They’re also introducing a reduced capacity amp option when applicable.Ā
Under the Hood
Under the hood, you’ll have a choice of two engine options – the standard turbocharged Ford 1.5L I3 EcoBoost with 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, or the more powerful turbocharged 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine with 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, which is exclusive to the Bronco Sport Badlands. Both engines come with Ford’s eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive as standard.Ā
Package Options
The 2023 Bronco Sport also gains several new packages, including the Black Diamond Off-Road Package and the Heritage Convenience Package, which adds power adjustable front seats, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a universal garage door opener, and a wireless cellphone charging pad.Ā
Ford is also introducing several new graphics packages that will add even more personality to the Bronco Sport’s already rugged exterior.Ā
All in all, we’re thrilled with the updates and changes for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself. Production of the 2023 model year has already begun, so come see us at Gary Crossley Ford and take one for a spin!Ā
