Crossley Customs manager Nick Sherman has noticed pickup and SUV drivers have shown an increased interest in adding more off-road chops to their rig. And off-roading can be many things. Thereās a lot of appeal of dusty days conquering dunes in Missouri and Kansas in a Ford F-150 Raptor or splashing along the lake shore in an open-top earley-generation Bronco. Crossley Customs knows going off the beaten path can lead to some exciting places.
Although, everyday is not the weekend. Getting a custom made Ford truck or SUV means the vehicle needs to be versatile.
It is said that some of the most successful people are those that are always prepared. And in many ways that also is true of a successful modification, or a capable garage.
Devolro Custom Builds have worked on a number of vehicles for well over a decade. They have run into of bumps in the shop. Some of the trucks they start out with barely have a pulse. But with their experience, skill, and ability to improvise, they always have a way to succeed.
And now, the 2018 Ford F-150 Devolro Predator is a born to be wild machine. It joins the companyās other models: the Devolro Expedition, Hunter, Challenger, King David, Interceptor, Warrior, and yesāthe Devolro Limousine.
As the most off-road of the Fx4 pack, the Predator is ready and able to do whatever it wants. In fact, it was the 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCrew that was both an influence and a helpful guide during development. Marrying the Predator with the Ford F-150 is achieved seamlesslyāif not easily. And the platform allows the builders to do more updates with less problems anticipated.
Some of the most noteworthy changes include tuning and upgrading the the 5.0L V8, and firing it up with a supercharger. Now, output exceeds 850 horsepower. Mated it to a sweet, driver friendly 10-speed shifter, it is a masterful combo. It has even reported as much as 900 horses.
To improve performance, handling and add more power, a thermal/night vision camera was added, and more LED lights, new dual exhaust (full system), tool box case, high jack, and more.
Inside, the quiet cabin is looking fresh and rich. It is real luxury, and offers a lot of comfort. Cherry Red Italian leather and upholstery is sporty and smooth.
Plus the carbon fiber interior is a great touch. If youāre going to conquer the wild, you want that ride to handle right and stable while it takes care of business. Race car, muscle, and pure Devolro made each one unique, and bad to the bone. Additions not only serve a purpose, they look tough and perfectly works along the F-Series.
The real star is the more mighty fully equipped steel front bumper with bull bar, The F-150 Predator has a winch and 10,000 lbs. capacity. Using the 2019 front mesh grille is a potent aesthetic. As is the new stance of each build; emphasized by wide body fenders and wide body bed sides, and skid plate.
The resulting truck is a irrepressible badass. We love the stripped down but cool look and aggressive attitude. It is stylish, able to conquer the elements and the road, and a Ford F-150 that pushes the limit with great skill.
It has such precision and skill that we wonder if the custom build is the 2018 Ford F-150 Predatorās origin story. That is definitely a major change.
Devolro also goes by Livid4x4. You can check them out online to see the beast in action.
