Some folks like to mow their own lawn. Some folks like to wash their own cars. Some folks are weird like that.
I’ve got a buddy whose favorite thing in the world is washing cars. It has been since high school. It doesn’t even have to be his car. He’s got a little detailing business that he runs on the side, but he’s hyper OCD about every swirl, every crumb, and every speck of dust so he ends up working hours on every ride, and by the time he pays for soap, and wax, and polish, and everything else he carries around with him, he ends up making about $3 buck an hour. True story.
This blog post is not for people like that. This is for people like me.
It’s not that I’m lazy, I’m just conservative with my energy
Washing my own cars looks like work. Plus you need a lot of special equipment, and most importantly, you need the motivation to get off the couch, pick up the equipment, and actually do the work.
I have none of those things.
