Tucci Hot Rods Beefs Up the Ford Maverick

Beef Maverick

The 2022 Ford Maverick is shaping up to be the pickup that’s perfectly suitable for Ford Focus and Ford Fusion owners, especially given the impressive mileage of both the hybrid and Ford 2.0L EcoBoost variants. Its blend of utility, combined with its relatively manageable height, make it appealing to sedan owners who might not want something as tall as a Ford Super Duty. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before the aftermarket got its hands on the all-new truck, and right on schedule, Ford saw fit to introduce the world to one of the first modified Maverick pickups in the lead up to SEMA 2021. The Tucci Maverick, as customized by Tucci Hot Rods, is set to show off one of the first beefed up examples to ever exist, and it comes equipped with accessories that owners will be able to buy too.

The Tucci Maverick is an 2.0 EcoBoost XLT-trimmed pickup with all-wheel drive made even more substantial with the addition of 3D-printed fender flares, wheel arches, front lip, and rear spoiler. Each printed part was engineered by Tucci to make the truck wider and sportier. Performance-enhancing parts include a set of coil-over shocks, a custom Borla cat-back exhaust with dual carbon fiber tips, and a wheel and tire combo that’s designed for the street.

While the Tucci Maverick may boast some one-off bodywork, the accessories the company saw fit to include on the truck will be available to owners. For starters, the truck comes equipped with the Ford Licensed Accessories hard rollup bed cover, spray-in bedliner, and tailgate spoiler. Inside, there’s an F200 IR dashcam and a windshield sunshade, which are also official Ford accessories. Those products are either already available, or set for future release.
