The 2022 Ford Maverick has proven to be a big hit with consumers thanks to its sensible size, affordable price tag, excellent fuel economy, and utilitarian nature. That also means that the Maverick’s aftermarket offerings are growing by the day, most recently adding Sport and Street Performance exhaust systems from MRT, as well as a dual-tip exhaust system from the same company (all for pickups equipped with Ford’s 2.0L EcoBoost I-4), and three different piggyback tunes from RaceChip. Now, longtime exhaust maker MagnaFlow has released its own performance exhaust system for the 2022 Ford Maverick as well.
MagnaFlow’s Street Series cat-back performance exhaust system for the Maverick is also only available for 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 powered pickups and is designed to give that powerplant a deeper, more aggressive sound. The exhaust system itself is constructed from 2.5-inch stainless steel tubing with dual 3.5-inch black powder-coated tips in a single side-exit design.
As for sound, MagnaFlow says that its Street Series Maverick exhaust is “aggressive to very aggressive” with moderate exterior and mid interior sound levels, as can be heard in the video below. Installing the exhaust system is reportedly very easy, requiring only basic tools and little mechanical skill, which is generally the case with most cat-back exhaust systems these days.
