The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor represents the dawn of the third generation of FoMoCoās hardcore, high-performance off-road version of its perenially best-selling pickup. However, like virtually every other new vehicle on sale today, the new F-150 Raptor has faced its fair share of production woes related to supply chain issues like the semiconductor chip shortage. For that reason, The Blue Oval is offering 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor buyers who had their orders canceled due to production issues a special discount on a 2022 model, according to a dealer bulletin seen by Cars Direct.

The F-150 Raptor Retail Order Satisfaction Program ā which is currently the only cash discount on the F-150 Raptor ā totals $1,250 and is available for 2021 model year customers that had orders canceled through January 3rd, 2022. Since the automaker wasnāt able to fulfill all 2021 model year orders on this and a variety of other models, the discount applies to a number of F-150 Raptor customers.
This isnāt the first time Ford has offered incentives to soften the blow of delayed deliveries, as it previously created a Ford Bronco customer satisfaction plan, which made funds available to assist dealers that had customers waiting for their Bronco or for those that had already taken delivery of a hardtop Bronco that were in need of a replacement top.

Since the 2021 F-150 Raptor launched last summer without the automakerās new BlueCruise hands-free highway driver assist feature, the entire F-150 lineup has faced numerous production cuts due to various supply chain shortages. As a result, Ford recently began offering auto start/stop and Active Park Assist 2.0 removal options in an effort to circumvent these shortages and speed up deliveries.
