The 2022 Ford Escape adds three new colors to its lineup: Stone Blue, Ice Blue Silver, and Atlas Blue. Here’s our first look at the new Atlas Blue color option.
Assigned order code B3, Atlas Blue is one of nine available colors for the 2022 Ford Escape.
The new hue is a no-cost option, and is available on every trim level. In addition, the new color can also be paired with all the interior color environments.

Currently, the 2022 Escape is available at dealers nationwide, as the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant has been producing the crossover since December 2021.
The 2022 Ford Escape represents the third year of the current, fourth-generation model, which originally launched for the 2020 model year. The Escape will receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2023 model year before another overhaul takes place in 2025.
In the meantime, the 2022 Ford Escape has continued to receive small changes. These include SEL trim dropping the standard roof rack side rails, instead offering them as a standalone option for the 2022 model year. In addition, the 2022 Ford Escape Titanium – which comes standard with Ford’s 2.5L Hybrid drivetrain – has dropped its standard B&O Sound System; the uplevel sound system will instead be bundled with the Titanium Elite Package.
