One vehicle that got a lot of people hyped up with its return is the Ford Bronco. The Bronco was always a big favorite for its style, off-roading ability, and uniqueness. Versatility–both on- and off-road–made it a desirable ride. And it offered a better quality ride, steering, and overall confidence and quality. But the Bronco entered the market in 1965, at a time when change was coming.
Ford kept the Bronco going by leaning in to trends and industry changes; but keeping its core identity. However, the SUV needed to go bigger. And to do so right, Ford turned to their own F-Series. As did this builder, who chose a 1992 F-350 Crew Cab 4X4 to create this inventive Bronco.
Building a 1992 Ford Bronco is no easy task. But if you want to make a bigger, tougher Bronco it is easier to build from an F-150. Which is exactly what Ford did. In 1978, the Bronco went into its second generation with a tough and bulkier style; a style that came from the Ford F-series but utilizing a short-wheelbase. This was a major change for the Bronco, but it gave the larger Bronco advantages over competitors.
This 1992 Bronco was built from a 1992 Ford F-350. It might not be born Bronco. but the F-350 Bronco build meshes the free spirit, hardcore SUV with the ultimate rockem’ sockem’ pickup. Does it look like a Ford Bronco? Definitely. But the 1992 F-350 base makes this extra spicy.
Currently listed for sale at All Collector Cars the unique and brawny build is priced at $39K.
Sleek and black on the outside, it has a nice dose of Ford identity and flair. Inside, custom red and black is used in seating, door sills, carpeting. A clean and purposeful choice that allows for a third seat option.
Not only does it have plenty of room, it also includes black and red captains chairs up front for a little extra comfort. Additionally, it has A/C, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise control and a period-correct CD player.
While the multimedia has aged, the heart of the ninth-generation F-350 is still fresh. That major power cranks it up thanks to the 7.5-liter 460 CI and 4-speed automatic. It has the horses and a lot of torque to tow and haul.
Grip and traction are improved with LT275/55/R20 Nitto with black wheels. Plus, it is a unique and powerful visual.
Cool Ford F-350 badges, lightbar, and other elements from the F-350 and Bronco go together very well. It is clean and capable to rattle all-roads.
