Those seeking Ford Bronco parts and accessories have new ones to choose from on a virtually daily basis, with more recent additions including a two-inch lift kit, Power Packs for Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 and 2.7L EcoBoost V6, a roof-mounted off-road light kit, a tire pressure monitoring kit, Sasquatch fender flare kit, tube doors, and a functional bead lock ring kit. Now, Roush is adding yet another item to the reborn SUV’s growing catalog – a 2021 Ford Bronco axle-back exhaust system.
Roush just revealed its 2021 Ford Bronco Series Kit early this month, which consists of special decals and graphics, badges, unique 17-inch wheels, a floor protection kit, off-road recovery kit, console vault, Roush key fobs, a high-capacity air filtration system, a pre-filter with an R logo that’s resistant to dust, debris, and water, and a high-clearance axle-back muffler with a removable Roush-branded black exhaust tip.
Now, 2021 Bronco owners can coax a little bit more sound out of their SUV’s powerplant thanks to Roush’s new axle-back exhaust. The kit fits both 2.3 and 2.7L models and reportedly enhances both the engine’s sound and the noise made by the Bronco’s turbochargers. The exhaust system utilizes factory mounting locations but doesn’t hang quite as low as the OEM pipes, which is great for off-roading purposes. The exhaust tip is also removable in the event that even more clearance is needed.
Roush’s Bronco axle-back exhaust is constructed from corrosion-resistant T304 stainless steel and high-flow, 3-inch, mandrel-bent tubing, and comes with a less restrictive muffler and a tip with an “R” etched in it for looks. Roush says that the system is easy to install, and it comes with a limited lifetime warranty to boot. The axle-back exhaust retails for $1,049.99 and is available to purchase now.
