Converted Ford vans and other models are a hot item for people with an affinity for camping. Weāve seen quite a few of these modified vans up for sale in recent months, including aĀ 2015 Ford Transit 250Ā with a modern interior andĀ another with a simpler setup, as well as aĀ 2008 Ford E-150 Sportsmobile converted into a camper. Now, thereās another converted Ford camper van up for sale atĀ Cars & Bids, and though itās a bit older than the other examples, this converted Ford E-350 motorhome has myriad options to offer.
This particular motorhome began life as an Airstream B190 almost 30 years ago, but its current owner heavily modified and upgraded it before putting it up for sale. Itās finished in silver and blue and features a calming beige interior, contrasting with its beefy Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires and Ujoint Offroad 4X4 conversion.
Bilstein shocks and a lift kit make it as off-road friendly as a large camper van can get, and itās also kitted out with a front winch bumper with a brush guard.Ā This 1995 Ford E-350 motorhome features the 7.5L V8 engine, which can produce approximately 245 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Inside, it might be a surprise to find two front seats taken from a Cadillac Escalade for the utmost comfort. Its spacious interior is finished with oak cabinetry and beige seats and countertops. A cab-over bed provides a comfortable place to sleep, while a convertible couch dominates the floor and can be arranged into additional seating or sleeping areas.
This Ford E-350 has everything a camper would need, including a 6-gallon water heater, refrigerator, three-burner stovetop with an attached oven, and plenty of outlets for electronics. It certainly seems ready to tackle almost any terrain for customers who want a little more out of their camper van.
Currently, the Ford E-350 motorhome has attracted four bids, with the highest bid pegged at $8,200. The heavily modified van will almost certainly attract higher bids before the auction ends today (July 5th, 2022.)
