Ford’s leap to the top spot in 2024, up from second place last year, underscores its significant investments in a globally sustainable and responsible supply chain. Factors such as emission reduction, environmental friendliness, and the eradication of human rights violations play a crucial role in these rankings.Ā
Ford distinguished itself by not only securing the top position overall but also excelling in specific categories. With a 42 percent score, nine percentage points higher than in 2023, Ford outpaced Mercedes-Benz to claim the lead. Remarkably, Ford achieved a 54 percent score in the human rights category and an impressive 86 percent in responsible mineral sourcing. Additionally, it was one of only two automakers to surpass the 50 percent mark in workerās rights, demonstrating its comprehensive commitment to ethical practices.Ā
