For decades, truck owners have been figuring out ways to fill their beds with water andĀ create mobile poolsĀ orĀ even jacuzzisĀ in some cases. But rather than DIYāing it, there is a better way to make your Ford truck a cool place to hang out this summer, and it comes to us in the form of the Keystone Light (yes, that Keystone Light)Ā truck bed pool. For the mere cost of $250, you too can transform your Ford truck into the envy of the neighborhood, as well as a nice place to sit and relax when the mercury climbs.
Keystone has partnered with Realtree to create a limited-edition line of camouflaged products, including of course, this particular pool. Itās a cool piece of kit that measures in at 66x62x21 inches, and Keystone even says that it can double as a beer cooler for those tailgating or camping trips.
However, the poolās size makes it suitable for a particular type of pickup ā ones with a 5.5-foot bed like theĀ Ford F-150Ā in most cases. Itās a bit too large for theĀ Ford Maverick, which has a 4.5-foot bed, though we imagine that one could use a bed extender and figure out how to make it work. Either way, itās big enough to fit a couple of adults or around four younger folks, though when filled with water, itās going to be so heavy that you wonāt want to have to move it around, and will definitely want to consider your truckās max payload ratings beforehand.
Regardless, Keystone also notes that if you donāt want to use your new pool as a pool, itās also capable of holding over 3,000 beers, which is good to know. Obviously no one needs to tote around that many adult beverages, but then again, nobody really needs a truck bed pool, either. But it isnāt always about what weĀ need, but rather what weĀ want, isnāt it?
